Select the best warranty

A warranty is a promise, presented in written format to customers, by manufacturers, to replace in part or in full, a product, if found defective during a specified period of time from the date of its sale. The warranty is given to all consumer durable goods, including vehicles. It is mandatory for all manufacturers to issue warranty under the US law. This has been done basically to protect the interests of the consumers. Warranty issued to vehicles is called auto warranty.

Under auto warranty, replacement of spare parts and repair of the car will be carried out. However, the cost of the replacement of expensive spare parts is not covered under the auto warranty. There are two types of auto warranty, new car warranty and used car warranty. New car warranty is issued to brand new cars while used car warranty is issued to pre-owned cars. The cost of used car warranty is higher considering the age of the car and the risks involved. Besides, the services offered under the used car warranty are lesser when compared to those of new car warranty. Therefore, select the best warranty. It is always advisable to hire the services of an auto consultant before selecting the auto warranty. Check offers from at least five different firms before finalizing the warranty.
