Warranty for automobiles

Auto warranty refers to repair and maintenance of all kinds of vehicles for a prescribed period of time from the date of its sale. This service is promised by the auto dealer on behalf of the vehicle manufacturer. Warranty for automobiles comes on the basis of a validity period. Under this warranty period, the cost of the replacement of spare parts and their repairs is borne by the auto dealer. However, the cost of the replacement of expensive spare parts will not be covered under the warranty. Similarly, the cost of the replacement of spare parts, accessories and others damaged in accidents cannot be covered under the auto warranty.

The auto warranty is issued on multiple bases, such as time and distance. For instance, the auto warranty will be in place for up to two years from the date of its sale. During this period, if there is any manufacturing defect in the vehicle, it will be rectified without charging any fee to the customer. At the time of purchasing an auto warranty, make sure that you review at least five different warranty offers. Every dealer has an association with at least five different auto warranty service providers. Therefore, keep an eye on the offers.
