The 2009 Chevrolet Aveo5
The 2009 Chevrolet Aveo5 has been redesigned and updated, showing that entry-level cars have come a long way in the last ten years. Compared to older vehicles, and even the previous Aveo5, the newer model is a great improvement. However, if you compare the Aveo5 to the Honda Fit and Nissan Versa, it doesn’t shine as bright.
Basically, with the Aveo5, like with anything else, you get what you pay for. The more you pay, the more luxury features you get. Features like a sunroof, better interior coverings, power locks, etc. creep in as the price tag goes up.
Be aware that you will hear and feel the jolts in this vehicle, however, for an entry-level car they are acceptable. The Aveo5 even handled rough roads pretty well.
The Chevrolet Aveo5 is a good entry-level car that tries hard and gets a lot right, yet it doesn’t compare to its competition. However, at a base price of $12,120, and with an estimated 34 mpg on the highway, you really can’t go wrong with this car. In addition, it comes with a 100,000 mile/ 5 year Powertrain Limited auto warranty.
