A 2010 Toyota Camry Recall Alert
Toyota has just announced a recall for 7,300 Camry cars from model year 2010, which marks the Japanese carmaker’s third recall within the first couple of months in 2010.
The recall is only in affect for Toyota Camrys that have a four-cylinder engine. There is a problem with the power-steering hose that may have direct contact with a tube in the front brake, which might make a hole in the tube, causing leaking brake fluid. This might cause the braking effectiveness to be compromised in the car.
Owners of the 2010 Camrys that have been affected will be notified by mail around the middle of February, according to Toyota. For more information you can go to www.toyota.com/recall. Also, owners can call the Toyota Customer Experience Center at 1-800-331-4331.
As a car owner, it is important to protect yourself with an auto warranty. You never know when recalls, or car repairs will come up.
