Auto warranty is an assured car care, including repair and maintenance of the vehicle, at the cost of the auto manufacturer and dealer. No fee will be levied on the car owner during the warranty period for repairs and replacement of minor faulty spare parts. The warranty will be in place for a period of up to two years from the date of the car’s sale. The warranty is offered by the car manufacturer in association with an auto dealer and a third party agency, which carries out the repair and maintenance service.  

All products, including cars, have to come with warranty. Any product that does come with the warranty is not considered to be of good quality. Under the US law, all consumer products should come with the warranty. The auto warranty is offered up to a two year period or 30000 miles covered by the vehicle or whichever comes first. In case, the vehicle suffers a breakdown on account of manufacturing defect, it will be replaced under warranty. However, the warranty does not cover the cost of the replacement of certain parts. It also does not cover the cost of the replacement of parts or accessories damaged in accidents.
