Bumper-to-Bumper Car Warranties

2013 Subaru BRZA basic car warranty may state that it covers your car from bumper to bumper. This means that it covers everything from the front end of your car to the back end of your car, as well as everything in-between. However is this really the case? If it is not, can extended car warranty complete your coverage?

Even if you have extensive coverage, be sure to read all of the fine print so that you are aware what incidentals are not covered by the warranty. There are many incidental items that are not covered by any warranty, but many car warranties do not clearly list these items. This can result in you paying for services that you should be covered for. Since these items may not be clearly stated on the contract, it is important to scrutinize the entire document. Once you are fully aware of what coverage you are receiving, be sure you are also being provided with coverage for a sufficient amount of time. Coverage can last for various amounts of time so it is important to be sure. Is it coverage that lasts three months or coverage that lasts ten years? Always know how long you will be covered for.

Lastly, if you buy an extended warranty, be sure to get one that has as many options as you need, this way you will be covered for the cost of repairs and be more at ease when bringing your car to the shop.
