This concept is called warranty and applies to all products, including car. The product will be protected by the warranty and it is the obligation of the manufacturer to replace the product or its fault part. In car warranty, there are two types. They are new car warranty and used car warranty. Each warranty is protected by separate law. While the rules governing the new car warranty is called new car warranty, the used car warranty rules are bound under used car warranty law.

In the US, the used car warranty law is common across all the states barring a few. The used car warranty law has more stringent measures for consumer protection. This is also to prevent the fraudulent used car warranties from being sold to the car owners.

There are also chances that the consumers of used car warranty law may not be able to enjoy all the services promised. Under such circumstances, the used car warranty law can be applied the auto dealer concerned or the auto warranty firm. Hire the services of an auto consultant before purchasing the warranty.
