New Car Warranty- Must for Your Car

A warranty is an assurance given to the buyer by the seller that the product being sold is a good quality product without any defects. A new car warranty is a guarantee offered by the manufacturer to the car owner for a limited period of time or mileage. This warranty will help pay to fix or replacement of parts and labor if any mechanical problems arise.

Generally new car warranties are for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Some insurance companies also provide certain policies with the new car. Some of them are “mechanical breakdown insurance” and “adjustment warranty”. Adjustment warranty covers all parts and is usually a short term warranty that lasts for ninety days or less. Two other important warranties offered with new car warranty are bumper-to-bumper warranty and power train warranty. Bumper-to-bumper includes everything from wiper blades to tires. On the other hand, power train warranty covers gaps, engine, transmission and other parts that needs extensive repair. It is for a definite number of months or mileage.

A new car warranty covers almost everything except items like tire and batteries that are not included in a basic warranty. You can also purchase a roadside assistance with your warranty, which will be there for you 24hours and seven days a week.
