If your original warranty is about to expire or has expired, then getting and extended warranty is a good idea. A couple of things to keep in mind when buying an extended warranty are:

The cost of any warranty or insurance rises while the terms get shorter and shorter as your vehicle accrues mileage and years. The more coverage you have under your original warranty, the lower is the cost of your extended warranty.
- What to look for in an extended warranty: Obviously the time period and cost are the major decisions that will decide your choice of warranty, However, don’t forget to consider the deductibles. Learn your warranty terms. Figure out which parts are not covered in the w as well as how many miles are your covered for and for how long of a period of time.
