A great place to buy auto parts off the Internet is aftermarketauto.com website. It is a portal that stocks almost anything and everything related to things that have four or more wheels. The best part is that all the parts you buy are covered by the aftermarket auto warranty.
The warranty is valid for a month, in which you can return any products that are defective. However, read the warranty document carefully, because there are charges involved in case you want to return a non-defective item
The company stocks all kinds of tools like winches, jacks, complete tool kits and more. Shoppers can choose from a variety of brands that are available. Then there are the accessories that range from grille guards, nerf bars, bed rails, ladder racks, running boards, visors, floor mats, bull bars, light bars and steps bars for trucks and pickups. The company also stocks interior car accessories like baby and pet seats, seat covers, mats, speakers, and audio systems. The list is almost endless. Headlight covers, sunroofs, fog lights and wings are some of the exterior accessories available. The company claims to have any part or accessory that you may need for your car or truck, and if they don’t have it in stock, they’ll still get it for you.

Aftermarketauto.com has an aftermarket auto return policy like almost all other auto accessory companies. Though the company does not have a money back or a total return option. However, the company offers to exchange any product in case it has a manufactueres defect within 30 days.
Light fixtures are not included in the warranty and the company advises you to check all light fixtures at the time of installation only. Defective items can be exchanged for the same item only. Special order items cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded either.
In case you want to exchange a non defective product, you can do that too, but you will be required to pay a restocking fee of up to 20%. Returning merchandise can be a tedious job since you have to fill out the necessary paper work in order to get a return merchandise authorization number, which expires within 12 days. All products have to be returned in their original packing, along with all other enclosures in new condition.
The company undertakes an after market auto warranty for only 30 days, after which the product has to be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. All non defective returns have to be returned in a new condition.

The law that provides consumers the most protection of all used car warranty laws is the car lemon law. This law was created in order to protect the rights of people who purchase used cars that turn out to be lemons. The Used Car Lemon Law is applicable to all car purchases that happen with dealers and is not applicable to private purchases.
According to the law, dealers are required to give a written warranty for the used car, whereby he undertakes the task of repairing any defective parts for free. He can also undertake to pay for any repairs on the car. Any used car covered by this law can be sold by a dealer “as is†and the best part is that , in case the dealer in unable to repair the car to your satisfaction after a number of attempts, then the buyer is entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.
However, the criteria under which a car is covered under the lemon law are quite stringent. The car has to be at least two years old or driven within 18,000 miles, whichever comes first. Another requirement for this law is, the vehicle needs to be purchased or leased from a dealer, and has a purchase price of at least $1,500 and has not exceeded more than 100,000 miles at the time of resale or lease.

Talk about the biggest auto warranty news, DaimlerChrysler AG backs off from the court case between them and Mercedes by paying a large sum of $1.2 million.
The automaker went into a new agreement with the Justice Department according to which they will have to monitor the emission problems in the cars and follow it up with constant reports to the government. In addition, they have to visit the court on regular basis to update the authorities about the upgrades.
It all started in the year 1998-2000 when the lawsuit involved emission-related defects in some of the most popular Mercedes vehicles. The allegations heated up when according to the Justice Department Mercedes did not inform the EPA about following problems within 15 days of their arrival.
- Airflow sensors were defective
- Catalytic converters didn’t work properly
- Air pumps and some other parts were not up to the standards.
The lawsuit defends by giving examples of large number of vehicles with emissions problems. The company has stopped the production of some of the defective parts and has increased warranty on others.

After finding the original sticker in the glove box, a disgruntled used car buyer asks if it is legal for a dealer to sell a used car for more than it’s original sticker price.
Question: Can a dealer legally set the price of a used car even above what the sticker price was 2 years before? The original sticker was in the glove compartment. I just was involved in such a deal and feel so stupid. I was looking at the bottom line and the interest rate and payment and never looked closely a the top line! I feel the dealer really scammed me!!!
Answer: Yes, the dealer can charge whatever they want for a used car… However, you might be looking at the total amount of all payments plus finance charges interest. This could easily exceed the original sticker price even in an acceptable deal.

Coming in under 16,000 and with one of the better new car warranties being offered, Suzuki expects to make a big splash in the US market with it’s SX4.
“The introduction of the SX4 in the U.S. and the impending arrival of this sedan version couldn’t be better timed for Suzuki. At a time when fuel prices have the buying public spooked, miserly small cars and CUVs are the fastest growing segments. The SX4 and SX4 sedan will give Suzuki two vehicles that should go over very well with a growing audience of cost-, fuel- and style-conscious consumers.”
